Beautiful Venice

I've heard people say Venice is one of the most beautiful places in the world before but I don't think anyone can truly explain a place to it's true beauty. The only way of truly experience it is if you're lucky enough to travel yourself.
When I go to places that are absolutely breathtaking, most of the time I don't even want to take my camera out, I just want to stare are it and take it all in but then who am I kidding? Look how beautiful all of this is it'd be rude not to capture it on camera. I think since I ever knew what a bucket list was I have always had going on a gondola ride in Venice very close to the top of the list and boy did it live up to the expectations. It was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, It was peaceful, It was magical and it was so enjoyable and honestly it blew my mind. It truly would put driving down streets like this to shame. The red flowers around Europe were possibly my absolute favourite thing, just look how beautiful one bunch of flowers can make a street look. It's like adding lipstick to a beautiful makeup look.

Whilst I was in Europe you really learn to take in all the beauty around you and let that beauty consume you and take you in and you'll truly feel like you're in another world. I would say Venice is truly one of the most Romantic places in the world, I can only imagine visiting it with someone you love (hint hint future husband) but I am a romantic and I love all the soppy stuff (but then again not too much).

I didn't just enjoy Venice for it's beautiful gondolas and beautiful water streets, also the atmosphere minus all the pigeons. They were everywhere. That has to be one of my biggest fears, being sh*t on the head by a bird. If I managed to escape it in Venice then I think I've managed to escape it for life. We did though find out that Venice is quite a pricey place and if you're are on a 20 year olds budget like I was you would have found this out very quickly. Me and my friends went to an Italian style restaurant, I mean when in Venice? and me and my friend decided we would split the ravioli and ended up spending 10+ Euro each on 6 pieces of ravioli to share. We learnt our lesson, but needless to say the 3 pieces each was delish.

I absolutely can't wait to go back to Venice, It will be high up on my list for when I return to Europe. I really hope you enjoy the photos and the post!

I will definitely be back soon! ♥

 I told you. Everywhere.

ello London!

Isn't it so scary how time fly's when you're having fun? Yesterday was the end to my travels, after 43 wonderful days of frolicking in London, to eating my body weight in Italy, drinking way to much beer in Germany and being absolutely mesmerized over the views in Greece I am finally home and ready to document all of the truly magical things I have done and seen over the past 6 weeks.

My trip consisted of little snippets of many different places including LONDON - SPAIN - GREECE - FRANCE - ITALY - GERMANY - HOLLAND - AMSTERDAM and SWEDEN. Each and every place I visited was so magical in their own individual ways but first we will start with one of the stars of the show London.

Luckily for me I have a lot of family who live in England as I was born there. Which means a lot of wonderful people who were willing to pick us up and take us places skipping the hefty cab charges that come with London. It also means not having to pay for a hotel during our stay. I am forever grateful for the amount that was done for us during our trip.
We spent a week in London- Which as you can imagine a week worth of shopping, which meant completely blowing my budget for the week in London. I mean how can you not when there are so many beautiful items?!! Some of my all time favourite shops when it comes to London are Primark of course, Forever 21, Zara, Miss Selfridges Top Shop and that's not even all of them! but shopping isn't all we spent our time doing, we did the usual touristy things like the London Eye and Buckingham Palace, to eating way to much and getting completely lost, we bike rode through Hyde Park, went to the Harry Potter Studios, drinking multiple cups of tea meaning a lot of tea, to spending perfect amounts of time with family.

I completely fell in love with the cobbled streets and how vibrant the city of  London is and we were so lucky as the weather was absolutely beautiful. It was also Pride week in London whilst we were there and everyone was so excited and happy not just the gay community but I feel it lifted a lot of peoples moods and spirits to see people so passionate about something. One of the reasons I love London is I feel a lot of people truly embrace who they are and that shows through.

Every time I go to London I'm just as amazed at how beautiful Big Ben is, usually I more prefer the not so talked about spots when travelling but Big Ben I could sit under all day it is truly such a beautiful part of London.
After a week of indulging myself in English chocolate, Ben and Jerry's, Pie and Mash (my all time favourite), Wagamamas and Haribo I truly believe I spent my time in England wisely.

Anyone who lives in London or who is there regularly and knows any wonderful places I may have missed please let me know as it'll come in a heartbeat before I'm back!

and anyone who is thinking of traveling but doesn't know whether to I 100% recommend it, I've met some of the most wonderful people and I really think that I have grown as a person and learnt a lot about myself. I think
I've caught the travel bug.

Something Magical

Hello, Bonjour! Hallo, Ciao! and sorry!

I have been missing from my blog for quite some time. I know no excuses.
I am quite the perfectionist when it comes to some things and then other things I am not in so many ways. but my blog is one of the handful of things that I can't do unless it's perfect.

I created this blog for my travels (which are happening in two weeks eeep), to document all the magical places, people and things I find along the way. It would be a dream to one day travel lots and be able to blog my adventures as I go. If you don't dream big you won't achieve big.

Throughout my travels I would like to achieve so many things and find the best possible side of myself. I read so many travel blogs, my favourite being Tuula.
So the posts I have to come are the most exciting and hopefully the start of something truly magical.

Vine Frolicking

Wine Tours. One of my favourite things to go on in the whole world. A day where you can eat, drink and frolic in vines, and an excuse to dress up all summery and wear a big floppy hat, I mean what more could you possibly want?

Well Saturday was one of those days and the weather was divine. Here in Western Australia the Swan Valley is well known for it's wonderful wineries and beautiful views.
My 20th birthday is coming up and I've wanted to do a wine tour for quite a while so after going on this one I definitely know what plans I will be making for my birthday. If you have been on a wine tour you will know what I mean.
So until the next wine tour post, here are some happy snaps of my day :)
Hope you had as wonderful of a weekend as I did xx

My T2 Tea Collection

I thought there was no better day to blog about my teas than when I am at home sick living off of them. I say this is my collection but this is more my obsession. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love tea and T2 in particular makes the most beautiful teas.
Whenever I go into T2 it is a miracle if I come out with nothing. I go in there and fall in love every single time and always find an excuse to buy more. Once I started to get a few different types of teas the boxes started to look a bit messy and it is recommended to keep them in some type of a pot or jar to keep them more fresh. So here is where my creative side came in, here in Australia we have a shop called Kmart which is so cheap and has cute simple bits and bobs that can so easily be turned into something beautiful. These jars were only $2 each! Which I thought was crazy cheap considering how good quality and big they are. I thought these jars were a perfect fit considering how lovely they look wherever they are placed and match our kitchen perfectly.

I own 6 different types of teas, first the ever so popular English Breakfast Tea, which I don't think you can ever go wrong with, The Irish Breakfast Tea which is a stronger version of the English Breakfast, The Melbourne Breakfast Tea which might just be my favourite it is regular black tea with a hint of vanilla (which is my all time favourite), The Deliciously Dreamy Tea which is a night time tea and so relaxing before bed, Strawberries and Cream which is an extremely sweet tea which I much prefer as an ice-tea and last but not least Green Rose which has to be my other favourite, this is an 'afternoon tea' and is so nice just to make a pot of and sip on.

If anyone else drinks T2 and can recommend something yummy I'm so excited to continue with my growing collection!

I have quite a big mug collection but this has to be one of my favourites it is so big and you can wrap your hands completely around the cup. Perfect.

Zoeva's Heavenly Rose Gold Complete Eye Set

As soon as I first saw a photo of the ever so famous Rose Gold Zoeva brush sets I knew it wouldn't take long until I would have had to have them myself. Much to my surprise I did well and held off buying them for quite a while. I would find myself on the Zoeva website every day at work for weeks convincing myself why I needed them so much. If anyone else is in this position I will save you the hassle and tell you to buy them. I mean they are rose gold? do you really need much more of a reason.
Well just in case you do here are a few reasons I think you should splurge and buy these beauties. I always used to be one for not wanting to spend a lot of money on makeup brushes when I could buy cheaper ones from brands like Elf for $3 a brush. but you don't realise how much easier makeup is when you have good brushes, they blend even tough eye shadows out like a dream. It makes your life 100 times easier!

On the Zoeva website the Complete Rose Gold Eye set comes to 65 Euro which here in Australia is the equivalent of around 90 Australian dollars. When you do the math between the 12 brushes it ends up being only around 7 dollars and 50 cents a brush! (bargin if you ask me) for the quality and the pure heavenly appearance of these brushes.

The 12 brushes include: 228/ Luxe Crease, 231/ Luxe Petite Crease, 227/ Luxe Soft Definer, 322/ Brow Line, 142/ Concealer Buffer, 234/ Luxe Smoky Shader, 226/ Smudger, 224/ Luxe Defined Crease, 230/ Luxe Pencil, 237/ Detail Shader, 315/ Fine Liner and last but not least 317/ Wing Liner.  I really don't think you could go wrong. Every brush you could ever need to create so many diverse eye looks is right there. (Not saying you can ever have enough makeup brushes though).

I have read and heard so many wonderful things about these brushes and let me tell you they certainly didn't disappoint. I purchased mine off of beautybay.com. For anyone purchasing these brushes from Australia I definitely recommend giving this site a look, they are extremely reasonable and shipping took just over two weeks!
